2007
Two individually strong neighbour companies merge.
JGM Plast A/S and HN Tools A/S decide to merge their activities in order to jointly achieve a stronger position in the market. We are now a major subcontractor of injection moulding, thermoforming and tool manufacture to customers in Denmark, Scandinavia and the rest of Europe.
As a single company, HN Group A/S employs approximately 50 people in Billund, Denmark, and Switzerland.
2009
The temporary logo in which the previous names were incorporated is withdrawn. A new joint logo with new colours and a new look is introduced.
JGM Plast A/S
1979
On October 1, 1979, the company is established at Kløvermarken 306 in Billund, Denmark. The company predominantly produces vacuum-formed inlays, packaging and technical articles.
1981
The company moves to a larger premises at Buen 4 in Billund, Denmark.
1989
The company takes over F.H Værktøj at Kløvermarken 23 in Billund, Denmark. The company had been occupied with injection moulding and the manufacture of tools.
1992
Injection moulding activities are taken over from Stansomatic A/S who wanted to focus on precision blanking as their future core competency.
1995
All company activities are gathered at Kløvermarken 310 in buildings measuring 2,400 m². Administration, the workshop, injection moulding and thermoforming were now all assembled at the same address.
1998
Both production and warehouse capacity are expanded. In the same year, a systematic quality management system, based on the principles outlined in ISO 9002, is introduced.
2001
We take over all thermoforming activities from Sydpac A/S.
HN Tools A/S
1993
In the Spring of 1993, HN Plast was established as a “garage” business in Billund, Denmark.
1997
Production, which consisted of 2 injection moulding machines, was moved to a 70m² garage at Hedegårdsvej 12 in Billund, Denmark.
At the same time, the company’s competencies were expanded to encompass the manufacture of injection moulding tools.
2000
The name HN Plast was changed to HN Tools A/S. At the same time,
a production hall and administrative quarters were built at Hedegårdsvej 12 in Billund, Denmark.
2001
The first toolmakers are employed in the company.
2003
A sales office is established in Switzerland, and a salesperson/
project manager is recruited to take care of the company’s customers in Switzerland and its neighbouring countries.
2005
The company and its 10 employees move to newly renovated buildings at Kløvermarken 25 in Billund, Denmark. Tool production, injection moulding, the warehouse and administration were now all gathered under one roof.
